If you had to describe yourself with only one word, what would it be?

So many words carry different emotions.

This morning, while driving to work under a gloomy sky, I couldn’t help but reflect.

A sense of calm washed over me, but within it, a desire for something more, a feeling of emptiness.

Then it struck me — I am “just.”

“Just,” is a word that holds both simplicity and depth.

Not overwhelmingly happy, nor deeply sad. Good, but not extraordinary.

It’s a peculiar feeling, unlike being barely fulfilled or exactly complete. I am just… “just.”

But within the confines of that word lies a profound realization. Being “just” does not mean being ordinary or insignificant. It signifies the complexity within me, the vibrant hues that paint my existence.

It embraces the journey of self-discovery, the acceptance of life’s ups and downs, and finding ease in the moments of neutrality.

In a world that craves excellency and constant achievement, I find solace in the simplicity of being “just.”

It reminds me to cherish the beauty of the every day, to seek joy in the quiet moments, and to embrace the tapestry of life woven with both…
