What If Your Writing Sucks Trash?
Don’t be so hard T, you might think.
However,
Writing is like shouting.
Sometimes it’s melodic, like a beautiful song that fills an opera house with admiration and applause.
Other times, it’s more like a loud, off-key shout that might make people wince.
But here’s the thing: even if your yelling isn’t particularly pleasant, it can still be effective and appreciated — especially if it serves a purpose.
Imagine this: You’re in a park, and someone starts yelling.
If they’re belting out a beautiful tune, people might gather around to listen, enchanted by the performance.
But what if that same person isn’t singing but rather yelling, “Watch out! Charging pygmy goat!”? In that moment, everyone within earshot will be grateful for the warning, even if the shout was more alarming than melodic.
The point is, yelling — like writing — doesn’t have to be perfect to be valuable.
The content of the message can sometimes matter more than the delivery.
