This Is More Than Gifts, Mother.

My relationship with Mom has always been a rollercoaster.

On one hand, it was filled with love.

Mornings started with the sweet scent of hairspray as she braided my hair, and the gentle whir of the bike wheels taking us to school, rain or shine.

But those same days could end with a fight if I made a decision she didn’t like.

It was like walking on eggshells. One minute she was this amazing woman who pedaled me through the worst weather, the next she was giving me the silent treatment or worse, a full-blown argument.

I never understood what I did wrong to make her so mad all the time.

As I got older, things started to make more sense.

It wasn’t just that Mom was protective; she was young when she came to this country.

Everything was new and scary — a new language, a new life, and having to rebuild her career from scratch. Every mistake she made must have felt huge, and maybe she didn’t want me to go through the same struggles.

Once I realized what she’d been through, it all clicked. Her constant worry wasn’t about me being bad; it was about her love for me and not wanting me to get hurt.

Understanding her story opened the door to real conversations instead of arguments.

We finally learned to talk to each other, and that made us closer than ever.

Now, I’m so thankful for the way Mom raised me.

She’s strong, she loves fiercely, and she never gave up, no matter what.

Those qualities are a big part of who I am today.

That’s why store-bought gifts never felt right. They didn’t capture the real her, the amazing woman she is with all her struggles and triumphs.

That’s the idea behind White Iris Eternal — a way to celebrate moms like mine, the real them, not some random quotes.

It’s about giving something personal and beautiful, something that reminds them of their strength, their love, and how truly incredible they are.

This Mother’s Day (May 12th), give your mom a gift that speaks to her heart. Why not Enneagram messages on a beautiful card?

We got all of them ❤

Don’t know her enneagram personality type? https://ke5vd10zdq8.typeform.com/to/AGu8SRKq
