Is Starting a Business Your Destiny (or Disaster)?
I am staring at a tightrope.
On one side, the safety of a steady job, a predictable routine.
On the other, the exhilarating, terrifying world of starting my own business.
It beckons me, this dream I’ve nurtured, this idea that keeps me buzzing even at 3 am.
But man, the space between them is filled with enough “what ifs” to make my head spin.
Pressure, uncertainty, the whole shebang. It’d be a total lie to say I’m not scared — the thought of all those late nights and the social life that goes out the window makes me sweat.
The clock never stops ticking, the weight of responsibility is on my shoulders, and the social side of things can suffer.
I even feel the physical toll of long hours and the emotional rollercoaster of chasing success.
One thing is certain, There’s a reason I am drawn to that tightrope.
The thrill of creating something from scratch, of being my own boss, and of making a difference — that’s a rush unlike any other.
