I Have One Year Left To Live.
What if I had one more year?
I heard a speech from this guy, who has been living with his wife for the past seven years.
One day, they decided to promise each other one thing:
to ask one another this question: “If we only had five more years of our lives, what would we do?”.
Continually, they wrote lists of everything they wanted to do with each other and everything they wanted to achieve under that five-year span.
Then, they drop everything in their lives to pursue that.
Whether they wanted to write a book, sail the ocean, or start a business.
They just kept moving, and they never let themselves get comfortable.
I like to tell myself: “Oh, I’m young, I have time”.
But in reality…I don’t know that.
On any given day, everything could end, you know?
However, I believe that it is a good thing.
If anything, the idea of death kind of motivates me to keep going.
to achieve all that I can, to never stop asking myself the question:
What if I had one more year?
