Hey there, remember that feeling of hero worship you had for your dad when you were a kid?

The guy who could fix anything with a roll of duct tape and a smile, the one who taught you how to ride a bike (with a few wobbly starts and scraped knees, of course!), and the one whose bedtime stories transported you to magical worlds?

Yeah, dads. Pretty awesome, right?

However, somewhere between skinned knees and adulting, life gets busy.

We get caught up in the daily grind, the emails, the to-do lists, and sometimes, those childhood heroes we looked up to can start to feel…well, a little more human-sized.

The truth is, time flies by faster than a rogue sock in the dryer.

Before you know it, those little moments — catching fireflies in the backyard, building blanket forts in the living room, learning to shave (yikes!) — become faded memories.

That’s why this Father’s Day, let’s take a moment to appreciate the dads in our lives.

The ones who might not always say “I love you” (because, well, dads…), but show it in a million other ways.
