What we wear affects how others see us and how we see ourselves.

For example, dressing in a formal outfit for a job interview can help boost our confidence and show we are serious.

On the other hand, wearing comfortable clothes at home can create a relaxing atmosphere, helping us feel at ease.

Our clothing choices send strong messages not just to others, but also to ourselves.

The outfits we choose can impact our feelings, energy levels, and even our goals for the day.

In this way, what we wear both expresses who we are and shapes how we feel inside.

Research showcases that the clothing we choose to wear can serve as a “second skin,” significantly influencing our mood and behavior.

This idea is substantiated by studies in psychology, particularly through a phenomenon known as enclothed cognition.
