In the world of writing, where every word competes for the reader’s attention, it’s not sufficient to be just another voice in the crowd.

To truly influence your audience, your writing must maintain the capacity to trap, attract, and stir the deepest recesses of the human psyche.

I have been reflecting and researching during my time as a writer, and come up with five compelling writing techniques that I find the most interesting and assist your work from the ordinary to the extraordinary.

1. Dark Side of Human Nature:

Looking into human nature can give insights into storytelling.

By looking more into the human psyche, and looking into the complexness of fear, greed, and desire, you can create stories that powerfully connect with your audience.

I am not supporting violence or negativity, but rather the questioning of these human emotions, which can bring richness and depth to your work.

This doesn’t mean your characters need to be villains, but they should wrestle with inner conflicts and temptations that make them relatable on a primal level.
